Radiesse Lidocaine – description:

Radiesse Lidocaine is a dual-action injectable that delivers immediate volume correction while simultaneously stimulating the body’s own collagen production. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Radiesse’s calcium-based microsphere technology provides structural support to the skin and triggers long-term neocollagenesis.

This filler is indicated for deep dermal and subdermal injections where structural enhancement or contour definition is required. It is particularly suited for areas that benefit from firmness and lift, such as the cheeks, jawline, and chin. While it provides visible volume right after injection, its unique formulation continues to improve skin density and elasticity over time through collagen stimulation.

The product consists of smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier, allowing for smooth integration into the tissue. Over time, the gel is absorbed and replaced by newly formed collagen, resulting in a naturally rejuvenated appearance with long-lasting effects.

Radiesse Lidocaine is not recommended for lip augmentation or use in highly mobile or superficial areas. Instead, it excels in applications where structure, support, and lifting are the primary goals.

Moreover, Radiesse Lidocaine holds CE certification and is FDA-approved, guaranteeing its safety and efficacy.

Radiesse Lidocaine – composition:

  • 56 % CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite) particles 25-45μm
  • 44 %  – Gel:
    • 36 % sterile water for injection
    • 6,6 % glycerin
    • 1,4 % carboxymethylcellulose (NaCMC)
  • 0,3% Lidocaine

Radiesse Lidocaine is a dermal filler formulation that combines synthetic CaHA microspheres (with a diameter of 25-45μm) with a carboxymethylcellulose gel carrier, enhanced with lidocaine for improved comfort during injection. This specialized blend ensures uniform distribution of the filler, delivering immediate volume to the treated area. CaHA, the active ingredient, works within the deep layers of the skin, triggering neocollagenesis through fibroblast activation.

The fibroblast activation induced by Radiesse Lidocaine occurs regardless of whether the product is injected intradermally or at the dermal-subdermal junction. Results from this collagen-stimulating product can typically be observed as early as 4 weeks post-injection and may last up to 24 months.

Radiesse Lidocaine – treatment areas:

Radiesse Lidocaine can effectively treat multiple areas of the body, including:

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Cheek hollows
  • Cheekbones
  • Jawline
  • Oral commissures
  • Chin
  • Temple
  • Bridge of the nose
  • Hands

Radiesse Lidocaine – duration:

Radiesse Lidocaine typically provides results lasting between 12 to 18 months post-injection, with some individuals noticing effects up to 24 months later.

Radiesse Lidocaine is formulated with CaHA and lidocaine, operating in two distinct ways. While offering immediate volume and definition to facial areas, CaHA within Radiesse Lidocaine stimulates fibroblast activation in the deep layers of the skin, promoting collagen production. Studies have shown visible collagen production as early as 4 weeks post-injection, with results lasting from 12 to 18 months. Notably, some individuals may observe results persisting up to 24 months post-injection.

Radiesse Lidocaine is biodegradable and naturally resolves within the body over time.

Radiesse Lidocaine – injection protocol:

Inject into the deep dermis or subdermal plane using a linear threading, fanning, or cross-hatching technique. Use a needle or cannula appropriate for the treatment area. Massage the area gently post-injection to ensure even distribution. One session is often sufficient, but touch-ups can be performed as needed.
